AWS DeepComposer - Zero-Code A.I. Music Composing Programme

With the “IT Innovation Lab in Secondary Schools” (IT Innovation Lab) implemented by The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), each publicly funded secondary school in Hong Kong could apply for a funding support of up to $1 million in the three school years from 2020/21 to 2022/23 to upgrade their IT equipment and facilities and organise IT-related activities.

To promote immersive and fun A. I. learning experience to students, GrandTech Cloud Services is now introducing A.I. education training to secondary school students via its AWS DeepComposer training course. Adopting a zero-coding design, the course will enable students without any programming experience to create their own music compositions within seconds! Students could also gain international exposure by enrolling in Chartbusters, an international challenge hosted by AWS.

The objective of the course is to encourage students to explore and appreciate the unlimited possibilities of A.I. Students will also be equipped with insights of developing a future career in various cloud roles, from cloud developer, cloud operations engineer to cloud solutions architect. The course will be delivered by AWS certified trainers.

With the safe live streaming environment offered by IVS, participating schools might even extend the application of IVS within the campus to enrich various activities like singing contests and competitions of any kind!
