Having to spend money running on-premises hardware, including costs from floor space, cooling and power system, and other upfront costs that appears regarding maintaining a physical data center had been a rather inefficient and ineffective option for a growing tech company like AsukaBookAsia.
GCS Team managed to move Asuka’s on-premise IT system to Amazon Web Services, with the help of cloud flexibility, Asuka team not only get to easily manage it’s use of computing power, storage, database but also benefit from pay-as-you-go pricing features of AWS that leads to lower total costs.
AsukaBook Asia team now enjoys a cost-effective IT system on AWS and that Asuka team could focus on developing it’s business instead of having to worry about IT infrastructure all the time.
